Non-annoying user assistance for B2B Saas enterprise teams
The client
Command AI (fka CommandBar) began in 2020 as a simple search bar that helped teams navigate and complete tasks quickly. Since then, they’ve evolved into a leading player in the Digital Adoption Platform space, now helping SaaS companies like LaunchDarkly, Superhuman, and Sisense improve user retention and adoption. Command AI has been recognized with G2 Leaders awards for both Summer and Fall 2024. In October 2024, they were acquired by Amplitude. 🎉
The challenge
At Command AI, customers loved the product because we moved quickly, shipped fast and frequently, and focused on customer feedback. In this fast-paced environment, I focused on delivering the simplest version of each spec to meet immediate goals, while keeping future iterations like V2 and V3 in mind. This approach allowed us to get the product in front of customers faster. Despite the rapid pace, I always maintained a high-quality standard in my designs.
My role
My role was as an IC, and I was managed by their Lead Product Designer, Tyler Wanlass. I worked on various features from small to large throughout the year, assisting with spec write-ups, product design, prototyping, and QA. Below is a collection of screens I designed.
