Improving the onboarding experience for young gamers
The client
Hamul allows friends to game together using video and voice chat while having fun utilising emoji reactions and sound effects.
The challenge
Make it easier for their younger audience who often used their parents email address to sign up, initiate a forgot password flow, invite their friends to play and make search more user-friendly overall so they could find their friends online. We also introduced a new feature - the Hamul Coin, that gamers could earn with the successful referrals of friends and use for in-app purchases.
Hamul has since been acquired by Roblox for $17 million in 2022.
